Today sixteen years ago, I was amongst some thirty people in a set meal restaurant of some character near my university. I remember I had a deep fried boneless chicken thigh rice and a black brick (coffee jelly dices) milk tea.
That was my first meeting with my university classmates. The new term was to start in about two weeks. We then did not know that from then to our next meeting on the orientation day, the Twin Tower in New York would be flattened and the city we were in would suffer from the severest flooding catastrophes in decades because of Typhoon Nari.
